TEC is Born!
Our annual semester retreat, known as TEC (Together Encountering Christ), was established in 1995 by a group of passionate students and faculty members at SMU-MN. Inspired by the Lasallian values of faith, service, and community, TEC was created to provide a transformative experience for participants seeking to deepen their spiritual journey. Over the years, TEC has evolved into a cherished tradition on campus, drawing students from diverse backgrounds to come together in faith and fellowship. The retreat's success can be attributed to the dedication of its organizers and the unwavering support of the SMU-MN community, who have embraced TEC as a vital part of their spiritual growth and development.

Along with a new Campus Ministry Director in 2020, we experienced significant changes in our retreat's process. Things to keep memories alive, and honor members who've been apart of the retreat, welcoming newcomers with open arms.
